Biographical Information: Jill Macdonald is a third generation hotelier and president of Macdonald Motor Inns. Her industry perspective comes from 37 years in a family-owned and operated business that includes the 80-room Quality Inn, Eureka and the 55-room Benbow Inn in Garberville. She serves on boards and committees in her local area including the Eureka Chamber of Commerce (Chair of the Tourism Committee),Eureka Main Street, North Coast Business Leaders Roundtable, and the College of the Redwoods Advisory Committee for Hospitality and Lodging. In 2002, Jill authored The Eureka Visionary Committee Report, a two-year citywide study that was adopted by The Eureka City Council.
