The California Lodging Industry Association is the foremost
state association of individually owned lodging properties
in the country.
CLIA is governed by a dedicated
group of volunteers making up our Board
of Directors. Each has deep ties to the industry and
a commitment to return their expertise to an industry from
which they have benefited so much. This knowledgeable team
is spearheaded by president and CEO, Rick Lawrance, who
focuses on pioneering and promoting our constituents’
interests be they operational, political or legal. Lawrance
and his dedicated staff provide CLIA members with the best
information and support resources possible.

Protecting the interest
of owner/operators
You can also be confident in CLIA Lobbyist, Mike Belote
of California Advocates, who works with CLIA’s Government
Affairs Committee and the California Legislature in Sacramento
to protect and defend the legal
and regulatory interests of all California lodging owners
and operators.
